Believe What Men Tell Each Other

May 6, 2013

Where Men gather, Women are exploited.

And where there are Women to be exploited, there are Men who have turned to the Internet to “rate” their experiences of raping exploiting Women.

Please understand this – there are websites DEVOTED to giving Men a forum to compare their experiences of Raping Women.

You know, so Men can tell other Men how to “get value for money.”

Have you ever looked at these mongering websites? In the UK, you have PunterNet, in the US, you have the innocuously-titled USA Sex Guide.

Women, you should Believe What Men Tell Each Other.

The Invisible Men: Let’s Talk About His Choices is a 31-day project for May. Each day, the blog will feature an image of a mask with a price tag, overlayed with text extracted from PunterNet reviews. The price tag shows what he paid in that particular transaction. Extracts will cover everything from rape/racism/trafficking/exploitation of poverty/age/pimping etc.

Maybe you’re one of those people who think “Sex Work” is Empowering. You should read what punters actually think and do, and consider the choices of Men.

Follow the Project on Twitter at @invisiblechoice, and the Tumblr blog here.

Consider the choices of Men and what they tell each other.

For Every One of Us You Silence, 100 More Will Rise to Take Her Place

January 19, 2013

I received the following (unsolicted) email from Gallus Mag at GenderTrender, which I present unedited:

“As some of you may know, my posting access to my GenderTrender wordpress.com blog was suspended at the end of the business day on Friday January 18. My last post, on Friday morning, was a collection of screen caps: a random sampling of the abusive and threatening tweets directed at Suzanne Moore following her “SEEING RED: THE POWER OF FEMALE ANGER” article re-publication.

Prior to Friday morning’s post I did five controversial posts in succession:

  1. I outed an MD and Phd who threatened to murder a bunch of radical feminists, also specifically targeting myself and Cathy Brennan. 1/10/2013 FRI
  2. I posted the text of Professor Sheila Jeffeys’ submission to the Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Bill 1/12/2013 SUN
  3. I posted the entire text (and published imagery) of Julie Burchill’s “Transsexuals Should Cut it Out”, which was subsequently censored in toto by the Guardian/Observer and for which she is now facing a government criminal inquiry. 1/13/2013 MON
  4. I posted commentary and photos and a partial re-blog of Dirt’s article calling out the racism and homophobia at the core of the initial trans response to Suzanne Moore’s use of the term “Brazillian transsexual” in her “SEEING RED: THE POWER OF FEMALE RAGE” article. 1/16/2013 THURS
  5. I posted a video of Precious “Jewel” Davis, a (self-professed) gay drag queen who recently “turned trans” from the “We Happy Trans” project . 1/16/2013 THURS

Facebook Bans Political Speech, But Porn is A-OK

November 18, 2012

Facebook has removed a photograph of Object! Women Not Sex Objects‘ Spot the Difference birthday card to News International that demonstrated how male-dominated media portrays men and women differently, with men seen as fully human and women relegated to the role of sex object for male pleasure.

In Facebook’s world, Political Speech critiquing Pornography and Exploitation of Women is forbidden.

We Know Why.

More Facebook Misogyny here.

Just Say No to Transing Kids

October 29, 2012

“I’m for health coverage for trans ops and sexual reassignment surgery from age 8.” – Roseanne Barr.

No. Just no. Mutilating children and “delaying puberty” when society is “the problem” is child abuse.

You can read why transing children is child abuse here.

Nonetheless, Roseanne, thank you again for standing up for Women and speaking out about misogyny in the GLBT Community. Although we strongly disagree with your stance on allowing children to be surgically altered, we agree that the time is long past due for the GLBT Community to acknowledge the abuse that Lesbians suffer at the hands of the GBTs.

Well That Didn’t Take Long

October 26, 2012

Any time a Woman speaks out for Women over Men, that Woman is bound to face the wrath of Men angry that she dare stand for Women.

Roseanne Barr has come out in defense of Women over Men who exploit “Gender Identity” as a means to penetrate Women-Only Space.

For that, she has earned violent threats like this:

Roseanne Stands for Women

October 25, 2012

Recently, Green Party Presidential Candidate Jill Stein whiffed on the question of men in women-only space.

Roseanne Barr, running as the Peace and Freedom Party presidential candidate along with Cindy Sheehan, did not whiff.  Indeed, she is the only presidential candidate who has stood firmly for women’s space.  Here is what she said when asked about this on Twitter by Radical Feminist activist Ann Tagonist:

An Open Letter to the Nashville Rollergirls

Good morning -

My name is Cathy Brennan and I am a lesbian activist in Baltimore, Maryland. Recently, a person who suggests they are affiliated with your team has been following me on social media.  This person – Tear O’Bite aka Erin McCargar –  is angry because I support the right of females to exclude transgender women from female-only spaces. Because I would not agree with her viewpoint, she followed me from Tumblr, to Facebook, to Twitter.  She is now asserting I have engaged in “unethical” behavior by using Google to locate information about her that is easily accessible on the Google/Internet.
