Interesting Discussions going on here about women’s space in connection with a now-ended event called Age Diversity and Gender Fluidity: A forum sponsored by the San Francisco Dyke March.
Me being a hugely “transphobic” evil person, local dykes who live in fear of being ostracized by Gender Queers for having “an unpopular opinion” asked me to comment on the event page, and some Women (and Gay Men) cried “evils” when I said controversial things like “Trans women are men.” […]
Oh, this just keeps getting better and better:
“Speaking of her long-term partner – a man – she said: ‘He already sees me as a woman. That’s not going to be too big of an adjustment.’ The 34-year-old – who was raised a Mormon in Utah – applied for pre-authorization for her male-to-female sex reassignment surgery in July 2011.”
Not a woman…
So, I was going to ignore this news item when a friend passed it along.
Victory! Transgender Woman Wins Insurance Coverage for Sex Reassignment Surgery
As you might imagine, I have hundreds of friends and acquaintances who email me various items on gender identity and other anti-woman developments. I am truly grateful to receive these tidbits and for the women and men just as dedicated to eradicating gender as I am. Because we are all not buying this gender bullshit.
So, we keep each other company, and we watch and opine. We hope for improvements and wish to god this planet wasn’t so fucked up.

00:30-00:45 : The Great Pilgrimage to the bench.
00:45-1:00 : Sexual harassment? Apparently being sarcastic is sexual harassment.
1:00-1:30 : Valid spaces. Filmer makes snarky comment. I don’t know who she is, but her tone of boredom and disdain towards the whole argument makes me like her.
At Common Law, an intentional act by one person that creates an apprehension in another of an imminent harmful or offensive contact.
An assault is carried out by a threat of bodily harm coupled with an apparent, present ability to cause the harm. It is both a crime and a tort and, therefore, may result in either criminal or civil liability. Generally, the common law definition is the same in criminal and Tort Law. There is, however, an additional Criminal Law category of assault consisting of an attempted but unsuccessful Battery.
