I thought writing about the reality of sex and the occurrence of chromosomal abnormalities that lead to individuals that deviate from the norm and that are often tokenized as a means to legitimize the argument that "biological sex isn't real" would be a great idea. Maybe that way, people who read this can get a bit more of an idea on what exactly biological sex is, what abnormalities are and what they actually mean, in Genetics.

And the reason biological sex is important to females is a very simple one: because of our phenotypical sex, more often than not (and here we go again, the exceptions prove the rule), due to our genetic and phenotypical sex, we are classed as female, and thus, socialized as female, and all the oppression, abuse, and murder we face is justified on that basis by the oppressive class.
No other class of people suffers that; because there is only one other class of them.  Males. The exceptions aren’t the ones who are the oppressive class and they certainly aren’t the oppressed class for reasons of mere birth, either. They might be for others, but not for simply being “women”.
Males, on the other hand, from the day they are born, they are socialized to oppress and to rule over the “other”. On the basis of their biology, their secondary sexual features, that stem from – you guessed it – their sex.
SEX MATTERS.

Reblogged from Rad Fem Strategy Weekend:

Women are losing ground in the struggle for liberation.   Feminism is facing assaults from MRAs, transgenderists, Third Wavers, and the pornographers. Our individual efforts are not enough. We need to stand our ground and organize to fight back.

Come to a weekend strategy meeting for radical feminists. Our purpose is to develop long-range goals, plan appropriate strategies, and create robust organizations that can institute those strategies.

INTERIM LEGAL STATEMENT BY RADFEM2013 ORGANISERS

April 24, 2013

Reblogged from sisterhoodispowerful:

A separate update is circulating about the progress of the conference. In the meantime, this statement is about the legal position in relation to radfem2013.

We understand that women are worried and anxious due to the sheer amount of lies, misinformation, libel and distortions flying about. We want to reassure you of several facts:

1. From the beginning we have received advice and guidance from a solicitor and are reassured by “leading counsel” (a barrister) of the legalities, on numerous grounds, including the Equality Act 2010, that our right to meet as women is lawful…

You cannot “fix” a “problem” you refuse to name.

Although we have no hope that “we” can “fix” this “problem,” we will certainly “name” it.

Male violence.

Happy Thanksgiving!

No, really.

Tobi Hill-Meyer Sees Trees, Misses Forest

October 23, 2012

Pornographer Tobi Hill Meyer recently penned an article for Bilerico regarding the failure of the R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility in California to house two men who think they are women in the same cell.  In the article, Tobi attrributes the failure of these two men to be housed together on “feminists.”

Seriously.

But, more importantly, who are the “trans women” currently Tumblr-supported by Gender Queers across the country?

Unfortunately, most articles I found were about the killer, Robert Kosilek, and his sex change operation issues. It is very sad that in this case that has become so high profile in the last few years (since the taxpayers have to pay for his operations since he is in prison for life), but the victim of the crime, Cheryl Kosilek, has been all but forgotten.

So basically, this man murdered his wife, but "needs" a sex change because he has gender identity disorder.         Query how a man in a man's prison can live as a woman. Oh, right. He will be housed with the women. How is this a good result? The opinion is here. He strangled his wife with rope and wire and left her in the back of a car. What a lady-like thing to do. "I KILLED MY WIFE. GIMME A SECOND ASSHOLE."

The lunacy, hate-mongering and hypocrisy of Cathy "Bug" Brennan, everyone's favorite "Lesbian Feminist Attorney" from Baltimore, seemingly knows no bounds.

She and/or her bigoted minions made a series of "memes" about me that included weightist, looksist, misogynist and transphobic content.  They used my work picture which is copyrighted by the institution that I am employed at.  They said libelous and defamatory things about me, which they of course labeled "political speech" and use the apparatus of the patriarchal legal system to perpetuate their hate activities.

LOLOLOL - Joe, I am not the person meme-ing you, and I am not in charge of all the transphobia on the internet. Maybe stop acting like as asshole towards women, and you won't get this attention. More about Joe: http://bugbrennan.com//?s=joelle&search=Go UPDATE: Joe has locked down her blog. Everyone should ask her for permission to view it! It's the most feminist blog on the Internet!

On Bullying, and Being Nice

May 4, 2012

“Bullying” as a political issue has gained much traction in recent years, with suicides of GLBTQ youth paving the way for a campaign to protect youth. Such a campaign is a worthy endeavor, as bullying – aggressive behavior in which the Bully, through force or coercion, habitually targets a victim, who usually has less power than the Bully or who may be otherwise “different” from the bully – harms children.
